I’m a fan of this Lima unit in black ash for its clean, angular frame and open shelving - it feels light in a room yet still provides plenty of storage. It sits effortlessly in modern Scandi or industrial-inspired schemes, and even works as a low console in a minimalist setting. To style it, tuck woven baskets on the bottom shelf for remotes and cables, mix a few books and sculptural objects on the middle shelf, and leave the top clear for your TV or a statement lamp. Keep colour and materials simple so the grain of the ash really stands out.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
