I’m a fan of the Lima console for its straightforward mix of warm, reclaimed-look timber and a slim metal frame - it brings texture without feeling bulky. The two shallow drawers are discreet yet useful for stashing mail or keys, and the open plinth gives you room for woven baskets or a neat shoe rack underneath.
It fits equally well in a pared-back hallway, a modern farmhouse living room or an industrial-style study. Keep styling simple: hang a round mirror or a framed print above, place a slim table lamp or a ceramic vase off to one side, and layer a stack of books or a small plant on the other. That balance of function and unfussy style is what makes it so adaptable.
