Description

A unique table lamp not only brings that extra ray of light to a room but can also work as a decorative feature and adds character to a room. Our Lila Table Lamp features stunning curled bars that have gorgeous crystal effect droplets hanging from them and a smooth chrome finish, which all works beautifully together to create this incredible design. Whether it’s a bedroom that needs an extra ray of light or a living room, this fitting has you covered.

Our Stylist Says

The Lila Table Lamp in chrome is a sleek, modern piece that adds a contemporary edge to any space. I love how its reflective finish pairs well with minimalistic and industrial interiors, but it also works beautifully in more eclectic or glamorous settings when styled with contrasting textures. Practical styling tips include placing it on a side table or console to create a striking visual focal point, or combining it with clear or glass accessories to emphasise its transparent elements and maximise the metallic shine. It's versatile enough to serve as a statement piece in living rooms, bedrooms, or even home offices, adding a sophisticated gloss wherever it’s placed.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
