Hand sewn in the small French village of Briord, the curved silhouette of the legendary sofa provides the characteristic pleats of crumpled fabric whilst also making it the ideal seat to lay back and relax into.

I’m a big fan of this Togo fireside chair in deep green - its low-slung, ruched profile instantly adds character without overpowering a room. The Capa Vert upholstery works brilliantly in contemporary Scandi or mid-century settings, and it pairs equally well with natural oak tones, black metal accents or a simple jute rug.
For styling, tuck a lightweight wool throw over one arm to show off the texture, then position a slim brass or matte-black side table within easy reach. Add a floor lamp with a thin profile to keep sight lines clear, and balance the richness of the green with off-white walls or a neutral linen cushion.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
