Our Stylist Says
I really like the Light Grey barstool for its versatile, understated colour that can effortlessly slot into various interiors. Its simple, contemporary design makes it ideal for modern kitchens, breakfast bars, or even casual dining areas. The neutral tone allows you to pair it with a range of décors, from soft pastel palettes to more bold, contrasting shades. Practical styling tips include adding plush throws or cosy cushions for extra comfort and visual interest, especially if used in a relaxed setting. Its sleek, compact silhouette makes it perfect for smaller spaces, whilst remaining stylish enough to elevate the overall look of your breakfast nook or informal seating area.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
