The wall light Light-au-lait is more than just a light, it?s a real piece of Art. Designed by Fabien Dumas and Ingo Maurer in 2004, this lamp is made of a saucer and a tea cup. You can light it by pulling on a spoon attached to a stainless steel chain. Ideal for the kitchen, this wall light will also be perfect for public places, cafés and restaurants. The Light au Lait features an on-wall socket, but can also be mounted with an in-wall socket. The 200 cm cable is equipped with a plug, simplifying the lamp's installation.
The Light au Lait wall light is a clever mix of form and function, perfect for adding subtle ambient illumination. I love how its sleek, minimalist design makes it versatile across various interiors, from modern kitchens to contemporary living spaces. It works particularly well in schemes where you want a touch of understated sophistication without overwhelming the decor. Practical styling tips include mounting it at eye level beside seating areas or mirrors to create a soft, diffused glow, and pairing it with other metallic accents to enhance its contemporary vibe. Its clean lines and neutral finish mean it can seamlessly blend with both monochromatic and colourful schemes, making it a reliable yet stylish lighting choice.
