I’m a fan of the Lido chest for its crisp lines and high-gloss finish - it slots straight into Scandi, contemporary or minimalist schemes without fuss. Its low profile makes it ideal as a bedroom dresser or living-room sideboard, and the four drawers give generous concealed storage.
Styling tip: balance the gloss with a matte ceramic vase or woven basket, and add height variation using a slim table lamp or a stack of coffee-table books next to a small plant. Inside, divide each drawer with simple box organisers to keep linens, stationery or gadgets neatly sorted.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
