Our Stylist Says
I love this lamp’s modern, sculptural look with the abstract arch ceramic base and sleek black finish. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors but can also add interest to more eclectic spaces. Its neutral palette makes it versatile for pairing with other monochrome accessories or adding contrast in lighter schemes. Practical styling tips include placing it on side tables or dressers to create a cosy reading nook, or using it as an accent piece on a console. The fabric drum shade softens the overall aesthetic and diffuses light effectively, making it suitable for both ambient and task lighting. Overall, it’s a stylish choice that balances form and function effortlessly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
