I’m a fan of the Lexington for its soft grey finish and oak-effect top - it feels fresh in Scandi, coastal or modern-farmhouse schemes and won’t date as trends shift. The clean lines and adjustable shelves mean you can use it in a home office, living room or even a hallway, and it’ll look just as good holding books as it does displaying plants or ceramics.
When styling, mix books both upright and flat, interspersed with baskets or lidded boxes on lower shelves to hide clutter. Leave a little breathing space around objects, then add height variation with vases or a small lamp. A trailing plant on the top shelf brings a touch of life, and grouping items in threes helps keep the look balanced without feeling overly planned.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
