The Lexi Ceiling Pendant is a great lighting choice for any home. The stunning colour of the mint green brings a refreshing feel to any space, while the pewter finish leaves a stunning shine, giving this ceiling light a stylish appearance and adding a touch of colour into your home. The adjustable height element of this pendant light means you can customise this light to ensure you are getting the best lighting possible for your space. Pair this ceiling light with the compatible LED bulb for long-lasting, cost-effective lighting.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this pendant because of its subtle colour palette, which combines mint and pewter for a modern yet versatile look. It works particularly well in contemporary interiors, especially spaces that feature accent colours or minimalist schemes. To style it effectively, consider hanging it above a breakfast bar or in a kitchen with open shelving, where it can add interest without overwhelming the space. For practical tips, ensure the height is adjusted for optimal lighting, and pair it with matching fixtures or complementary accessories in similar tones to create a cohesive look. Its understated design allows it to effortlessly blend into various schemes while providing a pop of colour and style.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
