Description

Add an abstract style to your décor with the Leora LED Ceiling Light. This light fixture comes in a stylish satin brass finish and has a gorgeous contemporary design, as well as being a flush light fitting which makes it ideal for low ceilings. It also is LED integrated, meaning that you do not need to buy bulbs for this light, and is IP44 rated for water resistance when styled in the bathroom.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this flush ceiling light for its contemporary elegance and versatility, making it ideal for modern bathrooms. The satin brass finish brings a warm metallic touch that can complement both neutral and bold colour schemes. Its sleek, integrated design is perfect for creating even, functional lighting without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other brass accessories or matte finished fittings for a cohesive look, and installing it at the centre of the ceiling to maximise illumination. It works well in bathrooms with minimalist or contemporary interiors, and can also add a touch of sophistication to more eclectic spaces.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
