The dining chair's soft and inviting design makes it perfect for enjoyable moments around the dining table. The innovative flexibility in the seat and back allows the dining chair to follow even the slightest movement of the body, meaning you can enjoy the meal even longer due to the supreme comfort and support. Put your personal touch on your dining chair by designing it just the way you want. Choose whether you want your chair with or without armrests, customise your cross base by choosing the metal finish on the legs, and opt for either Paloma or Batick leather grades in a wide range of colours.

Our Stylist Says

I love the clean, contemporary look of the Lenor sofa. Its crisp white upholstery makes it a versatile piece that can suit a range of interiors, from modern minimalist to Scandi-inspired schemes. It's particularly effective when paired with bold colours or patterned textiles in cushions and throws, allowing the sofa to either act as a statement or a neutral anchor. Practical styling tips include layering with textured accessories or adding colourful floor rugs to create a cosy feel. Its sleek design also lends itself well to compact living spaces or offices where a stylish yet functional seating solution is needed. The bright white finish might require some regular upkeep to keep it looking fresh, but it’s perfect for creating a bright, airy ambiance.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
