Design. Making use of rich Mango Wood in a natural finish, the Leif wardrobe combines rustic charm with minimalist design and contemporary style features. Its simple shape keeps things clean, whilst cool concrete inlays and traditional parquet patterns give the drawers a touch of intrigue. The wardrobe’s handles and legs are finished in a warm, on-trend brass hue, brining the look to life and delivering subtle glamour. Light and airy, yet suitably spacious, the Leif contains a large compartment with fixed hanging rail behind two hinged doors, as well as two handy drawers at the base. Stylish and relaxed, it can be combined with the coordinating bed frame, chest of drawers and bedside table for an effortlessly unified look.

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Sustainability at the Forefront
From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.
Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons
Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.
