Description

A gorgeous addition to modern or Scandi interiors, the Leif TV Unit showcases the natural beauty of Mango Wood and the contemporary versatility of concrete. Set upon splayed legs in a stylish brass finish, it features a simple silhouette enhanced by parquet doors and geometric brass handles. Adding depth and dimension, this combination of colours, grains and textures makes the TV stand perfect for both warm and cool interiors.;Spacious up top with room for decorative accessories, the Leif contains a large compartment behind double doors, as well as two drawers for all of those remotes, manuals and entertainment essentials. Sure to take the leading role in your living room, it is twice as stunning when matched with the coordinating coffee table.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this sideboard because of its blend of natural warmth and modern design. The use of mango wood adds a richness and texture that works well in both contemporary and bohemian interiors, especially when paired with neutral tones or layered textures. It’s versatile enough to serve as a media unit in a living room or a storage piece in a dining area. For styling, I recommend keeping it simple with a few decorative objects like ceramics or a statement vase, and perhaps adding some colour contrast with books or textiles. Its clean lines and subtle detailing make it a practical, stylish choice that can elevate various interior schemes.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
