The built-in LED strip gives subtle backlight that’s perfect for evening viewing without needing extra lamps, and the open shelving means your hi-fi kit, console controllers and a few baskets stay on display (and off the floor). To style it, keep things simple: stack a handful of art books on one side, add a low vase of greenery or a sculptural candle on the other, and tuck storage baskets beneath to hide remotes or cables. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
