Description

Designed by Gino Sarfatti, the Le Sfere 238/1 Wall Light references the designer's interest in the natural poetry of the lunar landscape. Conceived in 1959, the light is reimagined by Astep featuring a blown opaline glass sphere held in place by a graphic steel ring. Each light source is created in the image of the moon, creating a beautiful interpretation of the perfect luminous sphere. Founded by Alessandro Sarfatti, Astep combines the domestic landscape and experience with the latest technology, honouring evolution in design. A third-generation design entrepreneur with a legacy dating back to 1939, Sarfatti champions new designers and re-imagines icons, embracing fluidity and adaptability. Requires: 1x max. 60W (7W LED) E27 806lm 2700. K dimmable bulb (included).

Our Stylist Says

I love this black wall light for its sleek, minimalist design - the clean lines and bold contrast make it a versatile statement piece. It works particularly well in contemporary or retro-inspired interiors, where its globe shape adds a touch of retro charm. Practical styling tips include positioning it at eye level next to a mirror or bedside for functional, ambient lighting or installing it in an entrance hall to create a welcoming glow. Its understated colour and form mean it can complement a variety of colour schemes and textures, from crisp whites and blacks to warm woods and metals, making it both stylish and adaptable across different spaces.
