Description
A luxurious and refined console designed originally to furnish the suites of the five-star Le Roch Hotel in Paris. It is made entirely of rosewood veneer. This noble wood has a beautiful dark grain. Wonderfully soft and tactile, rosewood is very sensual to the touch. To the right of the table top there is a panel that when lifted reveals a bright blue lacquered-wood box. The handle hints at a thin strip of blue colour; a contrast in colours and styles that creates a surprising harmony between tradition and modernity. Its practical box is a discrete storage space for personal belongings. There is a mirror tucked under the lid of the box. It is a multifunction item of furniture that can be used as a desk, dressing table or console.
