Description

Originally designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927, the LC7 Armchair in chrome and black leather is crafted by Cassina and is integrated within the collection co-signed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Intended for Perriand's apartment in Paris' Place Saint-Sulpice, this compact armchair was first exhibited at the 1928 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and subsequently at the 1929 Salon d'Automne. Designed to be used as a dining or office chair, the chromed steel and leather chair has a swivel seat that enables the user to turn from side to side to speak with fellow diners or co-workers, without straining their back. Padded with CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, this comfortable armchair is sure to lend a touch of contemporary design to any space.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chair for its sleek, modern look that really makes a statement. The chrome and black combination is versatile, working well in contemporary interiors, whether in a minimalist dining space or a more eclectic setting. It lends an air of sophistication while remaining practical - easy to wipe clean and durable. For styling, it pairs best with monochrome or bold-colour schemes and can be mixed with softer textures like velvet or linen for contrast. To keep the look streamlined, consider using it as a standalone statement or paired with a sleek glass or marble table. This piece is ideal in interiors where a touch of modern elegance is desired without sacrificing comfort or function.
