Description

From floor covering to smart storage, the Lazaret textile pattern is as versatile as the upholstered ottoman design it now adorns. The bold geometric pattern is screen printed by hand onto a cotton dhurrie before being washed – to give it a faded appearance – and the finished textile is then applied to a mango-wood frame. Brass studs and handles complement the blue-and-white tones, while the ottoman’s heavy lid is supported by four slow-close sprung metal hinges for an extra-smooth finish. Due to the artisanal craft process, each piece will have individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I love this footstool because of its versatile colour and pattern, which work well in both modern and traditional interiors. The Lazaret Blue ottoman adds a pop of colour and texture, making it a great accent piece in neutral schemes or a coordinating element in more vibrant spaces. It functions perfectly as a footrest, extra seating, or even as a small side table with a tray on top. For styling tips, consider pairing it with textured fabrics, like linen or velvet, to enhance its tactile appeal, and place it alongside a complementary armchair or sofa to create a cosy, inviting setting. Its compact size also makes it ideal for smaller rooms or open-plan areas where space efficiency is key.
