Description

The extravagant Tuileries print has proved to be a Laura Ashley classic, inspired by an antique Toile de jouy print in the Laura Ashley archive. French and romantic, Tuileries decorates this luxurious 100% cotton sateen 200 thread count bedding in a soft sage colourway. Finished with a smart striped reverse and a piped edge detailing. We love the reversible print which means you can style your bed in two ways and it will always look dressed up, even when the covers are pulled back. Set includes a duvet cover and two pillowcases (includes one pillowcase with the single set). Pillowcases are available to purchase separately. Thread Count This number refers to the number of threads per square inch. Typically, the higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the feel. Have you thought about sheeting? Our Stylist Says

I love this Laura Ashley Tuileries duvet cover for its versatile, timeless design and soft, breathable cotton fabric. The reversible feature makes it a practical choice, allowing you to switch up the look effortlessly-ideal for changing seasons or mood. It works well in both classic and modern interiors, particularly those with muted colour palettes or vintage accents. For styling, pair it with crisp white linens and a mix of textured cushions to add depth, or introduce a few floral accessories for a more romantic feel. Its subtle patterning makes it adaptable to various settings, from cosy bedrooms to guest spaces, and it’s a great investment piece for adding elegance without fuss.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
