Description
The Josette roller blind from Laura Ashley features an ornate damask with elegant chandeliers and romantic rose bouquets. The timeless design combines simplicity with natural glamour, evoking a sense of classicism whilst retaining a modern edge. It has a blackout lining so blocks out light and also has a thermal quality, keeping you warm in colder months and cool in warmer months. Worth knowing... The width stated in our product specifications is the total width of the blind including mechanisms and brackets. The width of the fabric alone will be a few centimetres less than this. Safety warning Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes and inner cords that operate the product. To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children - cords may become wrapped around a child's neck Move beds, cots and furniture away from window covering cords Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop More information on child safety can be found on our Child Safety Hub
Our Stylist Says
I love this roller blind for its versatility and impact on a space. The fabric's blackout lining makes it an excellent choice for bedrooms or media rooms, enhancing sleep quality and reducing glare, while the classic black pattern adds a sophisticated touch. It works particularly well in traditional or vintage-inspired interiors, but can also complement contemporary schemes when paired with neutral palettes. Practical styling tips include keeping other textiles in the room simple and understated to let the pattern stand out, and pairing with coordinated bedding or soft furnishings to create a cohesive look. Its clean, streamlined design also makes it easy to integrate into windows of different sizes, offering both function and style with minimal fuss.

About John Lewis
A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion
John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.
Adapting to Changing Times
Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.
Commitment to a Greater Purpose
John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
