Description

Crafted from predominantly solid wood but with some veneered elements this corner TV unit works perfectly in any sitting room. It benefits from three good-sized drawers and three 44cm wide spaces for disc players and media boxes, each with a cable access hole at the rear. The 155cm wide platform can accommodate Flat Panel screens up to 70" (approx*) and for additionally functionality, the dividers are set-back by 10cm to allow for the positioning of a soundbar if required. It's hand painted and finished with a clear lacquer for low maintenance and thanks to subtle distressing on its edges, the unit displays a gently aged effect, so completing its appeal. Only the legs need to be attached to begin enjoying this piece; full assembly is not required. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this Henshaw corner unit because it makes the most of awkward angles without sacrificing storage or style. The matt black finish and neat ring-pull drawers suit both contemporary and more traditional schemes, especially muted, monochrome or Scandi-inspired rooms. To style it, keep cables tucked behind via the cable holes and use the open cubbies for low baskets or a few favourite books. On top, resist overcrowding - a slim lamp or statement pot plant either side of your TV keeps the look balanced and uncluttered.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
