Winner of a Design Guild Mark, the Latis Chair was created by Samuel Wilkinson exclusively for The Conran Shop. Presented in black ash and Vienna straw, the chair is a highly versatile design that pairs perfectly with the coordinating Latis Desk. Expertly crafted in northern Italy with a lightweight steam-bent ash frame and a Viennese-plaited lattice straw back and seat, the chair's striking curved appearance is achieved by a single piece of specially selected ash making up the main frame. Continuously working in the pursuit of fresh and innovative design, Samuel Wilkinson utilises his vast understanding of materials and their capabilities to achieve an exquisite finish in every piece that he creates.
