Signed by our La Redoute Intérieurs designers, the warm colours of the Lassan rug will warm up any interior in search of authenticity and style. As for its figurative prints, they revisit traditional Spanish tiles. The Lassan Rug is handmade from jute and cotton. Product Details • 89% jute, 11% cotton • 1550 g/m2 • Thickness: 1-1.5cm • Weaving type: Handmade • Compatible with underfloor heating:Yes • Interior Use: Yes • For outdoor use: No. Quality Info • Hand-braided, each piece is unique and may have small irregularities which make it authentic.. Colours and dimensions may vary slightly. • Given its artisanal manufacturing, the jute rug is not suitable for an area with heavy traffic.. Care advice • Once unrolled, you must wait a few days for the carpet to return to its initial shape.. To keep the edges flat, roll your mat in the opposite direction. Leave it like this for an hour then put it back flat and place a heavy object on it for 2 days. • New, the carpet may give off an odour which dissipates over time. Remember to regularly ventilate your room to reduce it. • To preserve its appearance, rotate your rug regularly in one direction or the other to minimise localised wear in the same places (due to successive passages), and loss of colour due to regular light. Care Advice • Vacuum regularly • To remove a stain, immediately dab the carpet with an absorbent tissue or damp cloth if necessary. For larger and deeper stains, you can call a professional service. Dimensions • Width 120 x Length 170cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cm • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification scheme monitors textile products for harmful substances through an independent, international certification scheme.
I really like the Lassan 89% Jute Rug for its natural, earthy texture that brings warmth and a relaxed vibe to a space. It’s versatile enough to sit comfortably in both contemporary and bohemian interiors, especially when paired with light wood or neutral tones. Because it’s made from jute, it’s a good choice for high-traffic areas like living rooms or hallways, and it lends itself well to layered styling-think adding cushions or throws that pick up its colours for a cohesive look. Practical tips include ensuring the rug is placed on a non-slip pad for safety and avoiding excessive moisture to keep the fibres in good condition. Overall, it’s an eco-friendly, stylish foundation that’s both durable and visually appealing.
