Description

A personalised clock is a thoughtful gift that will be used every day. This reproduction clock with traditional Roman numerals is inspired by original Smiths wall and mantel clocks. The clock can be personalised to say whatever you like: a name, a date, a place, a phrase, a message. This open-faced wall clock has ornate hands and German high-torque movement, creating an impressive timepiece. Making a unique present, each clock is hand-assembled and packaged in a box with branding from clockmakers Lascelles. How do I personalise my product? Once you’ve placed your order, please email your personalisation details directly to admin@brookpace.co.uk including your name and order number. For the clock to be sent out on time, please email within 24 hours of placing your order. When considering your personalised message, please remember that there is a 14 character count limit on each line, with two lines above the dial and one below. All personalisation text must be confirmed by email and your choice of upper and lowercase for each letter will be used, along with any numbers and symbols such as '&'. If you are purchasing this as a gift and do not wish the recipient to be contacted, please ensure that you state your own contact details for this order. The font and colour will be exactly the same as in the clock imagery on this page. Your personalised clock will be delivered within 14 days of ordering. Refund Policy This item is made to your specification and so is excluded from our usual. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our Stylist Says

I love this vintage-inspired clock for its charmingly aged finish and classic Roman numerals, which make it a versatile piece for both traditional and shabby chic interiors. Its antique white tone helps it blend seamlessly into neutral palettes while adding a touch of character. It works particularly well in kitchens, living rooms, or hallways where a statement timepiece can serve as both a decorative focal point and a practical element. When styling, consider pairing it with rustic wooden furniture or vintage accessories to enhance its nostalgic appeal. Additionally, hanging it slightly off-centre or above a sideboard can create a relaxed, curated look that’s both stylish and functional.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
