Price History
Description
Add warmth and texture with this Underfoot anthracite/sand rectangular rug, featuring an 8 mm polyester pile and durable jute backing for lasting support. Machine-made in a traditional Persian floral design, it’s suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and hallways. Compatible with underfloor heating and most indoor floors, it’s easy to maintain, vacuum regularly and spot-clean with mild detergent. Use an anti-slip underlay for added safety; keep away from fire and avoid placing on light-coloured surfaces where dye may transfer.
Our Stylist Says
I love this large floral rug for adding a classic yet versatile touch to various interiors. Its anthracite background makes it an excellent choice for creating a sophisticated foundation in both traditional and contemporary spaces. It works particularly well in living rooms or seating areas where it can anchor furniture or add warmth to more minimalist decor. For styling, pair it with neutral sofas or furniture to let the pattern stand out, and consider incorporating some accent cushions or accessories in complementary colours like soft pinks or muted blues to enhance its floral details. Its size makes it ideal for larger rooms or open plan spaces, where it can define zones effectively while adding a layer of visual interest.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
