This table lamp emits a soft, harmonious and pleasant light that is mainly directed downwards. Poul Henningsen used his well-known three-shade system as the basis for this lamp. He designed this system in 1925 with the aim of giving attractive, glare-free light a shape. The first lamp to use this three-shade system was developed in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. The lamp has a toggle switch on the cable with which it can be switched on and off. Mouth-blown craftsmanship: each piece is unique and may vary slightly from the image Made in Denmark
This lamp is a real statement piece, with its bold, colourful, mouth-blown glass design that adds character to any space. I love how it works well in both contemporary and eclectic interiors, bringing a touch of vintage charm while remaining functional. For styling, it’s best positioned on side tables or consoles to act as a focal point-pair it with neutral-toned furnishings to let the lamp stand out or complement it with other artisanal or retro touches. Practical tips include using a warm bulb for a cosy glow and keeping surrounding decor simple to let the lamp shine. It’s an eye-catching piece that combines form and function effortlessly.
