Crafted in Stoke-on-Trent, the green-hued Chequerboard Vase is designed by ceramic experts 1882 Ltd. Featuring a classic earthenware form with a contemporary, handpainted chequerboard finish, each vase is made by a pottery in Britain, using age-old ceramic techniques. Established in England by a fifth-generation family, 1882 Ltd. champions innovative ceramic design from homeware to artworks, utilising the rich heritage of the craft in Stoke-on-Trent. Their latest collection is developed in partnership with Bethan Gray, Max Lamb, Bruce Mc Lean and Snarkitecture.
