Description

The Lapis Rug is hand-knotted from hand-spun yarn, using a Persian technique introduced around 2,500 years ago. It creates a well-loved and lived-in antique look. The blue dye brings a modern appeal to the traditional design and is applied by hand.

Our Stylist Says

I love the way this rug brings a subtle yet sophisticated pop of blue to a space. It works particularly well in both traditional and contemporary interiors, adding an element of texture and depth without overpowering the room. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral furnishings or mixing with other soft accessories in complementary shades for a layered, curated look. Practical tips include placing it under a dining table or in a living area where it can anchor seating arrangements, and ensuring it’s large enough to create a cohesive feel - typically at least 30-45cm around the perimeter of your furniture. This rug can easily elevate a room with its gentle colour palette and versatile design.
