I’m a big fan of this wide TV cabinet for its clean, pared-back lines and handy mix of white lacquer and oak-effect finishes. It slots straight into modern, Scandinavian or transitional living rooms, giving you discreet storage behind soft-close doors and an open central shelf that’s perfect for AV kit or a row of low-profile décor pieces.
Styling tip: keep the top surface clear around your TV and use a couple of low vases or books at one end to balance the scale. Tuck baskets or boxes into the open shelf to conceal remotes and cables, then finish with a simple framed print or mirror hung centrally above to emphasise the unit’s width.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
