Description

The Landon Small Easyfit shade provides a boho hint to your room with a contemporary twist, with a beautiful, natural finish that opens up your rooms with a warm pop of colour. The fabric design features an abstract arrangement of gorgeous, folding fabric that lets off an ambient, soft glow from the light within. The soothing atmosphere is perfect for any living room or bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little Landon shade for its modern, sculptural appeal that adds texture and interest to a room. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandi-inspired interiors thanks to its clean lines and neutral tone, making it a versatile choice for living spaces, kitchens, or even bedrooms. When styling, consider pairing it with soft, neutral colour palettes to keep the look cohesive, or add a pop of colour nearby for contrast. Practical tips include hanging it at an appropriate height to maximise its visual impact and ensure even light distribution, while also keeping in mind its subtle, warm glow that complements natural materials and understated decor. This shade is a great option if you’re after a statement piece that still feels effortless and in tune with a pared-back aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
