This contemporary masterpiece seamlessly merges metal and wood in an elegant design, offering a modern twist on classic tradition. The sleek structure of this remarkable bed redefines the traditional bulky four-poster, featuring a steel metal frame with a wooden headboard and footboard. Occupying no more space than a standard bed frame (just check your ceiling clearance!), its chic canopy design creates a special sanctuary. Transform your space with draped fabric and twinkling fairy lights. Available in small double, double & king sizes, with an effortless flat-packed assembly and metal slats for a seamless bedroom upgrade.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this Lancaster bed for its clean-lined mix of warm timber and matte-black metal - it strikes the right balance between industrial and Scandi styles. It works equally well in a minimalist city flat or a cosy country bolthole, simply by swapping linens and accessories. For styling, layer neutral linens and a chunky knit throw, then suspend light, airy drapes from the canopy to soften the look. Anchor it with a low-pile rug and add a potted plant or two beside it for an organic touch. Under-bed baskets keep shoes or extra blankets neatly stowed, so the space stays tidy without compromising on character.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
