Born of a collaboration between designers Philippe Starck and Sergio Schito, the Lady Hio table pays tribute to formal purity and grace. It reflects Starck's obsession with creating maximum effect using a minimum of materials. True to the values of Glas Italia, this creation magnifies the beauty of the worked glass brilliantly. The Lady Hio table stands out for its superb hand-crafted, tubular blown glass legs. The legs are embellished with golden aluminium extremities, like valuable jewels. Its very sylphlike legs hold a glass table top with a bevelled edge. The result is both delicate and sophisticated, ethereal and refined. This is a timeless table that will fit in well in any decor – evanescent and discreet but with a strong character. Philippe Starck said of the Lady Hio table: "When human know-how and technology become a miracle, glass becomes a graceful poetry".
