This low open fronted bookcase is made with solid mahogany and has 2 adjustable shelves to store your books or showcase your possessions on. The La Roque range is a classic yet contemporary collection of furniture. This is a very low maintenance piece of furniture with exquisite detail including handcrafted fluted sides, nylon feet to protect your floor and a mid-gloss lacquer finish.

I’m a fan of this low mahogany bookcase for its rich tone and versatile scale - it sits neatly against a study or living-room wall without overwhelming the space. The warm finish suits both traditional and transitional interiors, especially when paired with leather seating or woven rugs.
Styling-wise, mix upright volumes with small stacks laid flat, interspersed with matching storage boxes or simple ceramics to break up the wood grain. Leave a little breathing space on each shelf, and add a small plant or framed photo to one corner for balance and a lived-in feel.
