The chunky knit pattern adds a tactile layer, while the versatile grey shade works effortlessly with light and dark colour schemes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this knitted cushion for its versatile, understated style that adds texture without overwhelming a space. Its grey tone makes it a fantastic neutral accent, perfect for both contemporary and more classic interiors. It works particularly well layered on neutral sofas, beds, or lounge chairs, offering cosy comfort while subtly elevating the look. Practical styling tips include combining it with other textured cushions in complementary shades or patterns for visual interest and mixing it into a layered bed or sofa arrangement for a relaxed, inviting feel. It’s a simple yet effective way to introduce tactile warmth and understated sophistication to any living or sleeping area.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
