Our Stylist Says
I love these black-out curtains for their sleek, modern look and practical benefits. The grey tone is versatile and works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, adding a touch of sophistication without overpowering the space. Their blackout feature makes them perfect for bedrooms, ensuring a restful sleep, while the eyelet style means they hang effortlessly and look tidy. For styling, I recommend pairing these with lighter coloured walls or minimalist decor to create a balanced, calming environment. They also pair nicely with metallic accents or textured accessories to add depth to the room. Practical tip: choose a curtain rod that extends slightly beyond the window frame to maximise light control and ease of movement.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
