Inspired by the rugged landscape and abundance of modernist sculptors from Bretton in North Yorkshire, the king size Bretton Bed created by Matthew Hilton and crafted by De La Espada would bring an element of modern design to any bedroom. Crafted in Portugal, the body of the bed is crafted from luxuriously grained black walnut, a rich dark heartwood sourced from the Midwestern United States, and finished with Danish oil. Supported by four taupe anodised aluminium legs, the body features exquisite joinery specially designed by Matthew Hilton. Combined with the highest quality materials, the meticulous detailing on the Bretton Bed marks it as an item of quality. The elegant headboard is available upholstered in Vidar and Coda fabrics from Kvadrat. Designed by Raf Simons and Fanny Aronsen, Vidar has a large-grained texture with a gentle satin surface finish and is crafted from 94 percent new wool and 6 percent nylon. Coda, designed by Norway Says and Per Bjornsen, is woven in two layers, with two colours to highlights its three-dimensional character, from 90 percent New Wool and 10 percent Nylon.
