Description

The Fern king size bedding set is a great addition to any bedroom setting looking for a bold, modern image thanks to an eye-catching foliage print that stands out against a simple black background. Ideal for adding a fresher, more natural tone to an urban interior, this duvet cover and pillowcase combo also gives a soft and comforting feel to the bedroom thanks to the 100% cotton design and 150 thread count.

Our Stylist Says

This bedding set offers a bold, nature-inspired look with its vibrant green foliage print, making it a great statement piece for both modern and eclectic interiors. I love it because it effortlessly brings a touch of the outdoors inside, adding colour and visual interest without overwhelming a space. It works particularly well in bedrooms with neutral or understated colour schemes, creating a focal point that lifts the room. For styling tips, pair it with crisp white or soft pastel sheets to let the print stand out, and consider adding textured cushions or throws in coordinating shades for a layered, inviting feel. It’s practical too - the dark foliage pattern helps hide minor stains, making it a smart choice for everyday use.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
