Description
The colourful application of oil paint creates layered, fluid forms on the canvas. About the artist Bristol-based Jack Paffett often uses his surroundings as a starting point for his artworks, before allowing them to become mutated by spontaneous impulses on the canvas. Over-painted, erased and then reworked, his abstract pieces always show remnants of the layers that came before.
Our Stylist Says
I love the simplicity and understated charm of this piece, making it a versatile addition to various interiors. It works particularly well in minimal or modern spaces where its subtle colours and textures can stand out without overwhelming the room. The key styling tip is to hang it at eye level against a neutral background to highlight its details, and consider pairing it with streamlined furniture or simple fixtures so it remains the focal point. This piece can also add warmth and visual interest in a monochrome scheme or act as a calming accent in a more eclectic setting. Overall, it’s a thoughtful choice for layering art into a space with an emphasis on clean lines and muted tones.

About Soho Home
From Humble Requests to Global Homes
Soho Home's journey began from a simple love for their unique designs. The brand's inception was sparked by guests' desires to take a piece of Soho Houses with them, cherishing their favourite items from these comforting spaces.
This led to the birth of Soho Home in 2016 with their Barwell crystal glassware. Fast forward, the brand has expanded beyond just a few staples, encompassing a wide array of interior items ranging from furniture and tableware to home fragrances and textiles.
