I rate the Kiel for its clean lines and rich walnut-effect finish; it sits well in contemporary, Scandi or mid-century spaces. The low profile keeps sightlines open, while four drawers and central shelves neatly hide consoles, remotes and cables. For styling, tuck cable boxes behind woven baskets on the centre shelf, group a stack of books and a small plant on one side of the top, then leave the rest clear to draw the eye to a framed print or mirror above. Its solid build pairs equally well with a monochrome palette or warmer earth tones.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
