The soft pastel colour works especially well in modern Scandi-style playrooms or cosy, cottage-inspired nurseries, where you can build around a neutral palette and introduce complementary hues through rugs and wall decals.
To style, place a low-pile rug underneath to define the activity zone, and slide in a couple of woven storage baskets for paper, pencils and toys.
