Description
In collaboration with the Natural History Museum. Treat your little ones or yourself to this gorgeous deep sea design print on canvas, featuring a printed multicolour design that will bring a unique style to any room in your home. Hang it up and let this art piece catch your eye!. Natural History Museum x Dunelm. Did you know that more people have walked on the moon than have been to the deepest part of the ocean? The midnight zone is near the very bottom of the sea. It is called this because no light can penetrate down here. Darkness, crushing pressure and low temperatures are the norm. But even in these extreme conditions, there is life. Animals that live in the deep sea have evolved enhanced senses that help them to find food, search for mates and avoid predators. From the Black seadevil and Tripod fish to the Dumbo octopus and Vampire squid, these incredible creatures have made this unforgiving habitat their home. Very little is known about the behaviour of these species because it is so difficult to study them in their natural environment but with continued exploration of the deep ocean, scientists hope to learn more about these fascinating creatures. © The Trustees of the Natural History Museum, London 2023. Our Stylist Says
I love the kids midnight zone mural for its vibrant colours and educational charm, making it an engaging focal point in a child's bedroom or playroom. It works particularly well in nautical or adventure-themed interiors, adding a sense of exploration and fun. To style effectively, pair it with simple, solid-colour furniture to let the mural stand out, and consider echoing the navy, green, or orange tones throughout the space for a cohesive look. It's also a versatile piece that can grow with your child, fitting into both contemporary or slightly more eclectic interiors. Practical tips include hanging it at eye level for little ones and complementing it with accessories like marine-themed cushions or soft toys for a playful, animated space.
