Our Stylist Says
This kids bookcase with reading seat is a clever combination of functional storage and a cosy reading nook, making it a great choice for both play and study areas. I love how versatile it is - perfect for modern interiors that favour clean lines, or playful, colourful kids' rooms. The neutral white finish ensures it blends well with various colour schemes, while the built-in seat offers a cosy spot for reading or relaxing. To style it effectively, consider adding some colourful cushions or small decorative items on the seat to make it more inviting. Pair it with a patterned rug and some playful accessories to create a lively, organised space that's both practical and charming.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
