Description

A glamorous twist on midcentury styling, this gold chair features a simple yet striking silhouette with looped arms. Create texture by adding cosy sheepskins to this piece.

Our Stylist Says

The gold chair is a versatile statement piece, perfect for adding a touch of glamour to both contemporary and eclectic interiors. Its sleek, metallic finish elevates any dining space, especially when paired with neutral or soft-toned tableware that allows it to shine without overwhelming. I love styling it with minimalist table settings for a modern look or layering it with textured cushions for added comfort and visual interest. To keep the look fresh, consider balancing the gold with darker accents or natural materials like wood or linen for a more grounded, inviting feel. It’s a bold pick that works well in smaller spaces where it can act as an eye-catching feature or in larger rooms as part of an eclectic mix of furnishings.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
