The Rival Chair by Konstantin Grcic is manufactured by Finnish furniture-maker Artek and showcases clean, round lines of birch wood in a contemporary form. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, German designer Konstantin Grcic worked under Jasper Morrison before establishing his own studio in Munich. He has gone on to receive several prestigious awards for his designs, and the Rival Chair collection exemplifies his aptitude for creating contemporary chairs that singlehandedly lift a space, available in asphalt, red, white or natural-lacquered finishes.
