Description

Inspired by Mid-Century style, the Hampton range of outdoor furniture is part of KETTLER's Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) collection. An elegant and ergonomic design with natural colours and making the most of the texture of wood, Hampton features FSC-certified acacia paired with comfortable sage cushions. RHS branding is etched into the wood. This lounge set, for the garden or conservatory, includes a two-seater sofa, two armchairs and a rectangular coffee table. The seating has removable cushions on top of woven webbed polyester slings, which are flexible and bouncy. The set is weatherproof and can be left outside all year round, although during winter months it's recommended to cover the furniture or store it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place to prevent excessive shrinkage or expansion of the wood. The comfortable seat and backrest cushions are stain-proof and when not in use should be brought inside. Our Stylist Says

I love this garden lounge set for its clean, timeless design and natural materials, which lend it a relaxed yet sophisticated feel. The acacia wood frame combined with sage cushions creates a versatile look that works well in both modern and traditional outdoor spaces. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral or earthy toned accessories, such as textured cushions or woven throws, to enhance its organic vibe. Practical tips include adding a few indoor-outdoor rugs to define the seating area and incorporating plenty of greenery or potted plants for colour and visual interest. This set is particularly flexible, complementing coastal, boho, or contemporary gardens, and works equally well in both compact patios and larger, more open outdoor areas.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
