Description

Inspired by Mid-Century style, the Hampton range of outdoor furniture is part of KETTLER's Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) collection. An elegant and ergonomic design with natural colours and making the most of the texture of wood, Hampton features FSC-certified acacia paired with comfortable sage cushions. RHS branding is etched into the wood. This dining set, for the garden or conservatory, includes six dining chairs and a rectangular dining table. The seating has removable cushions on top of woven webbed polyester slings, which are flexible and bouncy. The set is weatherproof and can be left outside all year round, although during winter months it's recommended to cover the furniture or store it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place to prevent excessive shrinkage or expansion of the wood. The comfortable seat and backrest cushions are stain-proof and when not in use should be brought inside. Our Stylist Says

I love the Kettler RHS Hampton set for its versatile design and natural materials, making it a stylish yet practical choice for outdoor dining. The FSC-certified acacia wood lends a warm, earthy feel, while the sage upholstery adds a subtle colour pop that complements a range of garden styles - from contemporary to traditional. It works well in open-plan or integrated outdoor spaces, especially when styled alongside neutral textiles, potted greenery, and simple accessories. For practical styling tips, consider layering with weatherproof cushions for added comfort and durability, and pairing with a mix of textured planters or string lights to create inviting outdoor dining zones. This set's understated sophistication makes it adaptable for both casual family meals and more polished garden gatherings.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
