Description

A place to relax, the Palma garden armchair is a standalone piece or can be matched with other outdoor furniture in the KETTLER Palma range. Made from high-quality hand-woven wicker, it's weatherproof and suitable for leaving outdoors all year round. Complete with tailored cushions and footcaps, it's ready to go outside when you are. With style and durability at the heart of the design, KETTLER's Palma outdoor furniture is made of weatherproof synthetic wicker with a 6mm half-round weave on powder-coated aluminium frames, creating a hard-wearing traditional rattan look. Key features: Garden armchair Comfortable shower-resistant cushions Traditional-style handwoven synthetic wicker Weatherproof, rustproof and UV-resistant Lightweight yet robust aluminium frame Easy to maintain Fully assembled for immediate use Match with other furniture in the Palma range Durable and weatherproof Built to last, the armchair is made with a lightweight yet sturdy powder-coated aluminium frame and handwoven synthetic wicker with a tight 6mm half-round weave. It's weatherproof, rustproof and UV-resistant, so it can remain outdoors all year round without it fading or cracking. Low maintenance It needs just an annual clean with mild soapy water (without abrasive solvents). The cushions are sponge clean only. If you wish to cover your furniture, a breathable cover can be used but make sure the furniture is dry before pulling it over the top. Soft and comfortable cushion The chair comes with a soft, comfortable seat and backrest cushion. The double-piped cushions are shower-resistant and easy to remove. Store them when not in use and bring them inside during winter months. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the product in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this garden chair for its versatile, timeless appeal and durability. Its neutral grey woven finish makes it adaptable to both modern and traditional outdoor spaces, effortlessly blending with natural greenery or a pared-back colour palette. To style it effectively, pair with crisp, weather-resistant cushions in contrasting colours or patterns to add comfort and visual interest. It works well in a variety of settings, from urban terraces to country gardens, but also looks great in a conservatory or sunroom when brought indoors. Practical styling tips include accessorising with a small side table for drinks or books, and layering with textured throws for extra cosy appeal during cooler months.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
