Description

KETTLER Palma three-seater garden sofa for indoors or outdoors. Made with a strong aluminium frame, ergonomic design and 6mm half-round UV-resistant hand-woven synthetic wicker, a hard-wearing traditional rattan look. Made for comfort with weatherproof cushions that retain their shape thanks to the double piping and 8cm foam core seat. The sofa can be left outdoors all year round but bring the cushions in during inclement weather and over winter. Key features: Garden sofa seats up to three people Traditional-style handwoven synthetic wicker Weatherproof, rustproof and UV-resistant Lightweight yet robust aluminium frame Weatherproof double-piped cushions and 8cm foam core seat cushions Easy to maintain Match with other furniture in the Palma range Durable and weatherproof Built to last, the sofa is made with a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium frame and handwoven synthetic wicker with a 6mm half-round weave. The sofa is weatherproof, rustproof and UV-resistant, so it can remain outdoors all year round without it fading or cracking. Low maintenance The sofa needs just an annual clean with mild soapy water (without abrasive solvents). The cushions are sponge-clean only. If you wish to cover your furniture, a breathable cover can be used but make sure the furniture is dry before pulling it over the top. Soft and comfortable cushions The sofa comes with soft, comfortable cushions that are weatherproof and retain their shape thanks to double piping and the 8cm foam core seat cushion. Bring them inside when not in use.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Palma sofa for its clean lines and hard-wearing resin weave, which feels right at home in both contemporary roof-top lounges and more relaxed country patios. The neutral grey cushions and pale frame act as a simple backdrop that suits minimalist Scandi schemes just as well as a laid-back coastal look. To style it, pair with a low-profile coffee table in teak or painted metal and layer in scatter cushions in muted stripes or botanical prints for comfort without overpowering the weave. A natural-fibre outdoor rug and a couple of potted ferns or succulents will tie everything together, while weather-resistant throws mean you can leave it looking neat between uses.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
