Description

This 3-metre by 3-metre square free-arm parasol from KETTLER has wireless speakers and LED lights inside the canopy to keep the party going in the evening. It's operated by an easy wind-up mechanism and has a tilt adjustment for selecting the right angle of protection from the sun. It's made with a durable aluminium frame and a shower-resistant canopy offering UV50+ sun protection. With free-arm rotation, the base doesn't need to be moved when raising and lowering the parasol. When not in use or in windy weather we recommend you close the parasol down. It comes with a weatherproof night cover. Fill the four-part base with sand and water to weigh it down in your chosen location in the garden. Make sure that you're happy with your parasol's location before filling the base. Key features: LED lights and wireless speakers Wind-up mechanism to open the canopy Tilt adjustment UV50+ sun protection and shower-resistant polyester canopy Aluminium pole Parasol base included Weatherproof night cover included Good to know: The parasol is designed for sun shade protection only. Our Stylist Says

The Kettler freestanding LED parasol is a sleek addition that blends functionality with modern design. I love how the wireless speakers introduce a tech-savvy element, making outdoor entertaining effortless and enjoyable, especially in contemporary or minimalist gardens. It works well in relaxed, casual spaces like courtyards, patios, or rooftop terraces where clean lines and neutral tones dominate. For styling tips, pair it with matching outdoor furniture in muted shades or vibrant cushions for a pop of colour. Keep the space uncluttered to highlight its practical features, and consider adding some ambient lighting or potted greenery to create a welcoming outdoor retreat that combines comfort with a touch of sophistication.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
